For many years  we are searching the question of projectors network applications -which will be the best network connection for projectors. At least if found to be installed and remote maintenance or remote control, as provided for the LAN capability if needed. What does this if it is concrete and what alternatives are there?

The attribute “network” says first of all not more than that the projector is able to have a software / hardware with other devices – usually computers – to communicate. What information, but through the network to? In the simplest case involves one or more projectors from a remote control room on their operating status to be reviewed and certain functions such as switches or the signal source selection from there. Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Telecare is a particular sort of assistive technology that uses electronic sensors connected to an alarm system to help caregivers manage risk and help vulnerable people stay independent at home longer. An example would be the systems being put in place for senior people such as fall detectors, thermometers (for hypothermia risk), flooding and unlit gas sensors (for people with mild dementia). Notably, these alerts can be customized to the particular person’s risks. When the alert is triggered, a message is sent to a career or contact center who can respond appropriately. Assertive Technology and Universal Accessibility

Technology and Universal AccessibilityUniversal (or broadened) accessibility, or universal design means greater usability, particularly for people with disabilities. But universally accessible technology yields great rewards to the typical user as well; good accessible design is universal design. Web Architecture

This basic site architecture is fast evolving to serve a wider variety of needs beyond static document access and browsing. The Common Gateway Interface (CGI) extends the architecture-thirds to three by adding a back-end server that provides services to the Web server on behalf of the Web client, permitting dynamic composition of web pages. Helpers / plug-ins and Java / JavaScript provide other interesting Web architecture extensions. Common Gateway Interface (CGI) – CGI is a standard for interfacing external programs with Web servers (see Figure 1). The server hands client requests encoded in URLs to the appropriate registered CGI program, which executes and returns results as encoded MIME messages back to the server. (more…)
